Gov. Okowa Aides distribute to youths as New Year package

As part of its activities to mark the New Year, Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Prince Sony Jifas Ogbon, Hon. Ricardo Oguma and Hon. Bone Owhovoriole have distributed largess to youths from Olomu and Effurun-Otor kingdoms in Ughelli South Local government area of the state

Some the items distributed at Ogoni-Olomu to mark the beginning of year 2020 were rice, wrappers, and cash gift.

Addressing newsmen, Ogbon urged Olomu youth and lovers of Christ all over the world to exhibit that love which is shed by the Lord Jesus in the heart of men for one another.

According to Ogbon, “Christians should extend love beyond their immediate environment by reaching out to the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.”

Also Speaking, Hon. Ricardo Oguma emphasized on the spirit of true love and sacrifice for one another by extending hand of fellowship to humanity.

He said, “My message of peace is to compliments that of the state governor, Dr. Ifeayi Okowa who has been able to achieve a peaceful and more vibrant state by harmonizing and bridging the gap between the leadership platform and the grassroots”.

While thanking the youth for their peaceful conduct, Hon. Bone Owhovoriole, an (SA) to the governor said New Year is celebrated all the world by Christians to mark the beginning of a new year.

“It is a period of exchanging gifts and peaceful coexistence amongst us. I want all the youths to see our positions as S.As to the state governor as a position dedicated to the service of the youths.

“To create an avenue for our voice as to be heard; it’s always said that development can only strives where there is absolute peace and tranquility. Jesus Christ preached peace all through and not violent”. He said.
