Hon. Oghenemu hails Delta Governor’s wife health Initiative, says she is a pillar of support

A House of Assembly hopeful in Ughelli South Local Government Constituency in the forthcoming general election, Hon. Wilson Rume Oghenemu has commended the wife of the Delta State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa on her free health care initiatives describing her as a philanthropist, role model and a pillar of support to her husband and by extension to Deltans.
Hon. Oghenemu who stated this at Otu-Jeremi, headquarter of Ughelli South Local Government Area on Monday, June 11, 2018 while speaking with reporters during the flag off of the 05 Initiative free medical out reach campaign of the wife of the governor at Otu-Jeremi, says her support to her husband has manifested in the giant strides recorded so far across all strata and sectors especially her 05 free medical care initiative in the state.
The grassroot politician, mobilizer and two time councillor representing Jeremi Ward 4 congratulated Mrs. Okowa on the successful flagging off of the 05 INITIATIVES free medical outreach campaign in Otu-Jeremi General Hospital.
He described Dame Edith Okowa as a humble and compassionate mother who combines decency and commitment to excellence. Hon. Oghememu adds that in personal and public life, she has warn the hearts and minds of Deltans.

Hon. Wilson later called on all Ughelli South indigenes to continue to support the state governor in his developmental stride and the Smart agenda which he said has been helpful to Deltans and urged them to cue behind the working governor come 2019.
He equally congratulated the Ughelli South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Dr. Richard Kofi who hosted the Governor’s wife and her entourage together with the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Barr. Peter Mrakpor for the overwhelming support to the PDP led administration, sressing that with notable and hardworking men like the Attorney General in Ughelli South, nod doubt the local government will bounce back to its in terms of effective representation.
On his ambition to contest for the House of Assembly seat in the local government, Hon. Wilson Oghenemu said it is to ensure that the area is evenly developed and for the graasroot people to feel and benefit from the government. “I am a grassroot man and I know the pains of the people and how to transform and better their lives, he concluded.”
