Hon. Aroko marks birthday with kindness, donates books to pupils in Ovwian[/caption]
In a show of compassion and community service, Hon. Kesiena Hillary Aroko, Coordinator of the Sheriff First, Delta First Diaspora group, celebrated his birthday on October 6th, 2025, by giving back to pupils of Ovwian Primary School 1 and 2 in Udu Local Government Area.
Marking the occasion a day after his birthday, Aroko distributed notebooks and textbooks to the pupils and pledged to pay basic levies for selected Primary 6 learners. His gesture, he said, was inspired by gratitude to God and his desire to support the MORE Agenda of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, F.O., JP, which emphasizes inclusiveness, development, and educational advancement.
The Head Teacher of Ovwian Primary School, Mrs. Justina Odeohwo Awupi, lauded Hon. Aroko for his thoughtfulness and extended appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for his sustained investment in education. She prayed for continued success and divine grace upon both the celebrant and the Governor.
Mrs. Awupi also commended the Sheriff First, Delta First team, led by Hon. Fegor Ogene, JP, Senior Special Assistant (Political) to the Governor, for their support in driving the Governor’s developmental vision across Delta State.
The event, filled with smiles and gratitude, turned what would have been a private celebration into a meaningful act of service — reaffirming that birthdays can be more than personal milestones, but opportunities to inspire hope and impact lives.
