Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City won't finish lower than second place this season. He made the statement after Saturday's commanding 3-0 victory against Brentford.
Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland, and Omar Marmoush were all on target for City. The win narrowed Arsenal's lead to just two points.
When asked about the title race intensity, Guardiola's response was emphatic. "I love it," he told reporters.
"We'll finish second minimum this season, I love to be here."
He dismissed concerns about pressure in the competition. According to him, the tension disappears when a team performs well consistently.
"When you arrive and have the feeling that the job has been good, well done," the City boss added. His confidence reflects his side's recent resurgence in the league.
