Governor appoints new officials across Sokoto administration

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has approved fresh appointments across multiple tiers of government administration.

Six individuals will serve as Special Advisers to the governor. They are Garba Muhammad S/Birni, Mukhtari Bello Abdurrahman, Shi'itu M.

Bello, Alhaji Tukur Sanyinna, Alhaji Abdullahi Jabo and Mamman Aliyu Salisu.

Three persons have been named Senior Special Assistants. Jummai Bello Kware, Nana Mamman Nasarawa and Hon.

Emmanuel Ekereke will occupy these positions.

Four Permanent Secretaries were also appointed in the reshuffle. They include Buhari Umar, Abdullahi B.

Muhammad, Musa Muhammad and Jibril Sa'adu.

Aliyu Magaji has been designated as Acting Permanent Secretary. He'll assume the role immediately.

Abubakar Bawa, the Director General of Media and Publicity at Government House Sokoto, made the announcements public.

All appointments take effect immediately, according to the official statement.
