Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff to President Bola Tinubu, has dragged Adeniyi Adeyemi to court over alleged defamatory statements. Adeyemi claims to be director general of the Presidential Foreign Promotion Council.

The lawsuit, filed at a Federal Capital Territory high court, demands N10 billion in general damages and N5 billion for aggravated damages. Gbajabiamila also seeks N200 million to cover court costs.

He's pressing for a court order requiring Adeyemi to publish a complete retraction and apology across five major newspapers. The case continues as fresh details emerge.
