FG Didn’t Orchestrate Rivers Crisis, Says Information Minister

The Federal Government is not behind the political trouble in Rivers State, says Information and National Orientation Minister, Idris Malagi.

The minister, who was live on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily show on Thursday, said the fact that some of the people in trouble are on President Bola Tinubu’s team does not mean the All Progressives Congress (APC) government made the situation in the state.

“It is not the federal government that is making the political trouble in Rivers,” he said.

“I have not seen proof to say that the Federal Government caused the trouble in Rivers State,” the minister said, and he also said that “people can guess because some of the people are friends with the government at the top.”.

Malagi said there have been political issues in other states like Ondo, and the president has stepped in to fix the trouble, even among the same-party people.
