Fat Joe Believes Chris Brown Could've Been the Next Michael Jackson Without Rihanna Controversy

Legendary American rapper Fat Joe has expressed his belief that Chris Brown could have reached the same level of fame as the late "King of Pop," Michael Jackson, if he had not been involved in a controversy with his then-girlfriend Rihanna in the early days of his career.

In a recent episode of his 'The Biggest Fat Joe' podcast, the hip-hop icon described Chris Brown as the most talented singer, hitmaker, and performer of this generation.

Fat Joe stated, "If Chris Brown never got into the controversy with Rihanna, we would be calling him Michael Jackson right now.

He's the most talented singer, artist, performer, and hitmaker of our time. There's nobody even close to Chris Brown."

Fat Joe also emphasized the need to move past the controversy, noting that it has been over 20 years since the incident and there have been no similar allegations against Chris Brown.

He added, "What I'm trying to say is that it's a shame that we're lying and we're not giving it up to the King of R&B."

Recalls that Chris Brown faced significant backlash and was blacklisted by many music fans, particularly in the Western world, after Rihanna accused him of physically assaulting her in 2009.
