Ex-international, Fuludu heads Felix Anirah Football Tournament 2018 LOC

Ex-Supper Eagle international, Mr Edema Fuludu has been chosen as Chairman,  Felix Anirah Football Tournament (FAFT) 2018, during the inauguration of the Local Orgainising Committee (LOC) recently at the Sapele Athletic Club, Sapele, Delta State.

Other members of LOC include: Mr Egho Dave, Dave, 1^st Vice National President, Nigerian Referee Association as Vice Chairman; Mr Shedrack Onitsha–Secretary; Mr Dan Evumena –Member; Mrs Evelyn Ofoghoro –Member; Mr Japhet Olomu –Member.

Others are Mr Gabriel Adejor –Member; Mr Roland Abu –Member; Mr Azuka Chiemeka –Member, Mr Tony Uba –Member; Dr. Olannye Eddy –Member; Amami Michael and the representative of Nigeria Football supporters club.

The tournament sponsored by High Chief Felix Anirah, a sport promoter in Delta state, tagged: “FELIX ANIRAH FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT (FAFT) 2018,” has N2million as its firts prize money while 2nd Prize is N1m, 3rd and fourth Prize is N750,000 and N250,000 respectively.

According to the LOC Chairman, Mr Edema Fuludu “the Felix Anirah Football Tournament 2018 is open to all registered club sides in Edo and Delta state, both in the Nigerians primer league and second division or armature club side, and it’s not an age grade tournament.

He added that sales of forms has commence across selected centers in Edo and Delta State, which include: DBS Warri, Sapele Township Stadium, Football House Asaba in Delta state.

Centers of collection in Edo state are Immigration Training Ground, Ikpoba hill, PSW House Benin-Auchi road, Aduwawa, Benin City, and Ikelebe Stadium, Auchi.

Speaking on while he choose to sponsor the tournament, High Chief Felix Anirah, explained he believes that the tournament will rekindle the bound in the old Bendel state and also channel youths energy to productive venture rather than engaging in crime and other social vices.
