Electorates now the kings with BVAS – Dafinone

The Candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, in next year’s senatorial election in Delta Central, Chief Ede Dafinone has praised the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) proposed by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the 2023 elections as the best decision for a free and fair election.

The Award-winning Chartered Accountant says it also means handing over power to the electorate to choose their preferred leader in their hands.

“BVAS has given you the power to choose who you want so that means all you need to do now is to get your voters card and you can vote out those who have not done anything for your community, vote out those who think you don’t deserve development, those who say you don’t deserve the dividends of democracy, those who think they can come here to promise you and won’t fulfil it till another four years”

Dafinone who was answering questions from youths on his plans for Ogedi community Ward 8 in Okpe local government area of Delta State, when the Ede Dafinone campaign train stopped over in his Ward-to-Ward campaign said the era of ballot box snatching has been condemning to the abyss of hell.

“He urged the residents to vote for all APC candidates insisting if the Deputy Senate President, Barr Ovie Omo-Agege could deliver on his promises as attested by the community youth leader, that means we have nothing to bother about, we keep our promises”

At Sapele Ward 8 where the Campaign train had earlier begun the day, Dafinone had assured those who assembled at the Lexi road venue of the meeting, that he would run an open-door policy

“I am not going to Abuja alone we will go there together so that when anything is not done for you, you can face me in the eye and say Senator you promise us this and you promise us that and you have not done it” urging the people of Sapele Ward 8 to cast their votes for all APC candidates.

The Communication Director of the Delta APC, Chief Wilson Odafe Omene who spoke at the venue of the meeting at Sapele Ward 9 described Dafinone as a square peg in a square hole.

“We must elect those who know what the business of going to the red chamber means we don’t want those who will go there and doze off or those who think going to Abuja is about their pocket. Dafinone is the ideal person to replace Ovie Omo-Agege, the one who is widely connected, experienced and able” call on the crowd to vote for Dafinone

The Ede Dafinone campaign team train led by Chief (Barr) Adelabu Borjor and other APC chieftains is expected to commence tomorrow with a visit to wards in Okpe local government area of the state.
