The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to party members aspiring to contest the election.
The forms are available at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, with the first aspirant to pick up the forms being Clem Agba, a former Minister of State for Budget and National Planning.
The cost of the forms is set at N10 million for the Expression of Interest and N40 million for the Nomination Form.
However, female aspirants and persons living with disabilities are only required to the Expression of Interest Form, while the Nomination Form is free for them.
Additionally, youths between the ages of 25 and 40 years old are eligible for a 50% discount on both forms.
According to a schedule of activities released by the APC, the sale of forms will end on January 29, 2024. The party will then elect its flag bearer for the governorship race at a primary election to be held on February 17.
