Doyin David Reveals Faked Persona on Big Brother Naija, Discusses Brand Fallout
Controversial Big Brother Naija reality star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, has admitted to faking her character during her first appearance on the reality show in the 'Level Up' edition in 2022.
She made this revelation while featuring on a recent episode of the CreativiTEA podcast hosted by Lynda.
Doyin confessed that her first run on the show was not her best, as she had portrayed herself as someone who was too mature and always tried to talk things out. She admitted that this was not her true self and that she is actually someone who fights.
In another part of the podcast, Doyin recounted how a brand terminated her contract because of an interview she granted. She stated that she deserved to be dropped because of her comments in the interview.
Doyin was among the former Big Brother Naija housemates that returned to the House for the All Stars edition last year. She was heavily criticized for being a talkative.
After her eviction, Doyin claimed that Nigerians are not ready for a reality TV show, slamming fans for voting against her because of her outspoken nature.
