DG Team SMART for Okowa, executive, members condoles with Obusom over wife’s demise

The Director General, Team SMART for Okowa, Hon. Sunny Orishedere has on Monday, April 17, 2018 together with members and executive of the group pays a condolence visit to the former chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Barr. Chuks Obusom over the untimely death of his heart rob, Barr. Mrs. Miriam Obusom.

 

 

In a condolence message delivered by the leader of the group, Hon. Orishedere to the husband, the group expressed shock over the death of  Barr. Mrs. Miriam Obusom whose was cut short at her prime age and said the news of her death was devastating and received by the group in a rude shock.

 

 

 

 

Hon. Orishedere who spoke in an emotion laden voice, described  the late Barr. Mrs. Obusom as a loving wife and a mother. He said she was a lady with a kind heart  and also devoted to her marital committement, noting that she will not only be missed by her husband and immediate families, but by all who knew her or have encountered her.

 

 

 

 

The DG however advised the bereaved husband to take heart as only God understands everything on earth. He urged him to put his hope and faith on God who alone can grant him the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of his darling wife, adding that her journey on earth has ended but another begins for her in heaven.

 

 

In his response, Barr. Chucks Obusom expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of Team SMART for Okowa for their love and concern and for identifying with him at the time of grief.

 

 

 

 

Describing her wife, Barr. Obusom who is also a patron of Team SMART for Okowa said she was his best friend and wife. He disclosed that she has been there for him in spite of all challenges and that she was a great pillar in every aspect of his life, but said no one can question God.

 

 

 

 

 

“ I would have loved her to live longer to enjoy the fruit of her labour, but God knows best”, he said. He however expressed joy that they have a daughter whom he said will continue to be a reminder to God’s faithfulness to his family, adding that he was consoled for the fact that his beloved wife has gone to a better place.

 

 

 

 

The bereaved husband who was so grateful for the visit described Hon. Orishedere as a true friend of over fifteen years and said that he felt honored by the visit of the Group and prayed God to continue to be their guide.

 

 

 

 

Prayers were later offered for the husband and his entire family as friends and well wishers came to sympathized with him.
