Lagos, Nigeria - Music star Davido has taken legal action against his first babymama, Sophia Momodu, seeking joint custody of their daughter, Imade Adeleke. The move comes amid accusations of extortion and denial of access to their child.
Davido, in his court filing, detailed a tumultuous co-parenting relationship with Momodu, claiming that she has been denying him access to Imade and making excessive financial demands.
He revealed that he has been financially responsible for Imade's education and has even purchased a N200 million apartment for Sophia, which she rejected in favor of a rented accommodation with an annual demand of N5 million.
