Afrobeats superstar Davido has broken ground on an ultra-luxury mansion in Lagos worth roughly N8 billion. He disclosed the ambitious project during a site visit at Eko Atlantic City.
The singer acquired the land in January 2024 for approximately N4 billion. Since then, property values in the area have surged dramatically, pushing the current valuation to around N8 billion.
His vision is a four-storey family residence combining comfort, elegance, and security. Each floor will serve a distinct purpose for household members.
Davido noted that the design allocates separate spaces for himself, his wife Chioma Rowland, and their children. "Everyone gets privacy while we maintain family togetherness," he explained during the visit.
Eko Atlantic City remains one of Lagos's most coveted waterfront addresses. High-net-worth individuals and serious investors continue flocking to this exclusive enclave.
Construction crews are actively mobilizing equipment and materials on site. Industry observers expect the luxury residential landscape of the coastal development to be further transformed.
