Christmas: Anirah reaches out to the elderly, promises to make his constituents happy

The Member, representing Sapele State Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Chief) Felix Uruemuesiri Anirah, in the early hours of Monday 23rd December 2019, gave Christmas gifts to 11  elderly persons above the age of 60years in the various wards, in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

Chief Anirah who personal presented bags of Rice and the sum of N30,000 each to the elders from various wards at his residence in Sapele, said his major purpose in joining politics was to serve his people, adding that it is his desire to make the people in his constituency happy all the time.

“I am very happy am doing this today because I want to see my people happy all the time, many of our elders who are above the age of 60years do not have the strength to work. I promised to empower them this month and I have fulfilled my promises and I promise to do more by the grace of God.”

An elder who benefited from the empowerment, thanked Chief Felix Anirah for the love he has for his people saying that they never regretted voting for him because he is God’s sent to Sapele.

Those who benefited are W.O. Sunday Jakpa, Elder Alimhison Paul, Elder Greg Omame, Elder Edwin Umukoro, Elder Solomon Ugolor, Elder Fred Okposio, Elder John Ogbogboyibo, Madam Doris Abiyere, Elder Godwin Edeki, Elder Olori William and Hon Mrs. Dora Eweto.
