Manchester United suffered their second consecutive defeat in the Premier League as they were beaten 3-1 by Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday. The visitors scored three goals from former United players Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro, while Hannibal Mejbri scored a late consolation for the hosts.
United, who lost 3-1 to Arsenal before the international break, looked disjointed and dispirited as they failed to cope with Brighton’s pace and movement.
