Blessing CEO has spoken out following actor Alex Ekubo's death on Monday. The Nollywood star passed away at a Lagos hospital after fighting stage 4 liver cancer.

On Instagram, the self-proclaimed relationship expert shared Ekubo's photo with a emotional message. "God will punish cancer," she wrote alongside a tribute to the late actor.

Her post appeared to reference her own cancer battle from earlier this year. In March, she'd publicly requested funds for stage 4 breast cancer chemotherapy.

That claim sparked significant backlash among medical professionals in Nigeria. The Delta State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association accused her of presenting an altered medical document.

According to them, she'd falsified a report originally belonging to another patient. The document bore the signature of pathologist Dr.

O.A. Odigwe from Xinus Medical Diagnostics.

Social media influencer VeryDarkMan took action based on the controversy. He filed a petition with Nigeria's Inspector-General of Police requesting an investigation into her conduct.

Blessing CEO hasn't publicly responded to these allegations. Her latest post focused solely on mourning the late actor's passing.
