Barau FC's Orji Kalu says Sunshine Stars U-19 proved to be formidable opposition. The Maliya Boys edged them 2-1 in a President Federation Cup Round of 16 match held in Abuja on Saturday.
Kalu told Totori News his squad delivered everything they had on the pitch. "Sunshine Stars U-19 are a very strong side, no doubt," he said.
According to him, football doesn't distinguish between senior and junior teams. "You just have to give your all, and that helped us secure the win," Kalu noted.
He expressed confidence ahead of Barau FC's next assignment in the tournament. The defender believes his team will maintain their winning momentum.
