Atiku vows to continue legal battle against Tinubu’s victory

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has said that he will not give up on his quest to challenge the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 presidential election.

Atiku, who spoke at a press conference on Thursday, said that he has instructed his lawyers to proceed to the Supreme Court to appeal the judgement of the Court of Appeal, which upheld Tinubu’s election.

He said that the “war” over the 2023 presidential election is not over and that he is confident that justice will prevail at the apex court.

He accused Tinubu of using his wealth and influence to manipulate the electoral process and subvert the will of the Nigerian people.

He urged his supporters and party members to remain calm and hopeful and to continue to support the PDP in its quest to reclaim power and restore democracy in Nigeria.

He also thanked the governors of Akwa Ibom and Sokoto states, Udom Emmanuel and Aminu Tambuwal, for their solidarity and loyalty to him and the party.
