AFCON 2023 – Super Eagles Thrash Dubai Club 12-0 in Warm-up Match, Face Guinea Today

Nigerian Super Eagles dominated a local Dubai team, securing a 12-0 victory in a friendly match at their training camp in Abu Dhabi.

The match served as a warm-up for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where the Super Eagles will be looking to make a strong showing.

The Nigerian team was led by Ademola Lookman, who scored four goals in the match.

Other standout performances came from Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon, who both netted braces, while Umar Sadiq, Ahmed Musa, and two own goals completed the rout.

The Super Eagles’ next challenge comes today, as they face Guinea’s Syli Nationale in a friendly match in Abu Dhabi.

This game will be the final test for Nigeria before they head to the Ivory Coast for the AFCON tournament, which kicks off on January 13, 2024.
