PDP G5 Vows To Return Tinubu in 2027

The PDP G5, a group of five influential members within the opposition party, has declared their support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The group, which previously backed a southern candidate in the 2023 presidential election, is now rallying behind the incumbent president.

Samuel Ortom, former Governor of Benue State and one of the G5 members, stated that the group has no regrets about supporting Tinubu in the last election and believes that he is a seasoned administrator who deserves another term in office.

He also mentioned that Nigerians have faith in President Tinubu and that the G5 will continue to support him.

The G5 members include Ortom, Nyesom Wike, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Seyi Makinde.

All members of the group finished their second term of eight years as governor last May, except for Makinde, who is now in his second term.
