Actress Dayo Amusa Criticizes Awarding of ‘Best Dressed Female’ to Bobrisky at Movie Premiere

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has voiced her disapproval of the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award being given to popular crossdresser Bobrisky at a recent movie premiere in Lagos.

In a video message shared on her Instagram account, Amusa expressed her disappointment, stating that it was a mockery of the women present at the event.

She argued that the judges disrespected every woman at the event by choosing a crossdresser for the award, suggesting that a separate category should have been created for crossdressers if the organizers wanted to honor them.

The actress’s criticism highlights the ongoing debate surrounding gender identity and the recognition of crossdressers in society.

While some argue that crossdressers should be acknowledged for their fashion choices, others believe that their inclusion in traditionally gendered categories is disrespectful to women.

As the conversation continues, it remains to be seen how the entertainment industry will address these concerns and whether they will create separate categories for crossdressers in future events.
