A complete list of Friday’s transfer deadline day deals by EPL clubs

On transfer deadline day, topflight clubs in England rushed to finalize their deals to improve their squads in the Premier League, as Manchester City landed Matheus Nunes from Wolves and Liverpool snapped up Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

Nigerian international Alex Iwobi left Everton for Fulham, while Cole Palmer switched from City to Chelsea.
Manchester United bolstered their squad with two loan signings, Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina and Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham.

The total amount spent by Premier League clubs in the 2023 summer transfer window was £1.37 billion, breaking the previous record of £1.24 billion set in 2017. The average spending per club was £68.5 million, with Chelsea being the biggest spenders with £268 million, and Manchester United being the only club not to spend any money. The most expensive transfer of the window was Moises Caicedo from Brighton to Chelsea for £115 million, while the most profitable sale was Declan Rice from West Ham to Arsenal for £105 million.
