The National Vice Chairman South-south of the APC, Prince Hilliard Eta stated this in a press release while reacting to the communiqué published in Vanguard newspaper, September 16th, 2016 edition by signed by Sen. Okpozo and others, purportedly dissolving the Delta Sate Executive Committee of the party.

He added that there is no such body known as the ‘Delta State Elders and Leaders Committee,’ therefore, “all decisions taken by such unknown creation are nullity abinito.”

Prince Eta stressed further that neither the National Working Committee (NWC) nor the Zonal Executive Committee of the party, gave any groups such mandate to superintend over the Prophet Jones Erue State Executive Committee, adding that the actions of the group amounts to goose chasing.

He also frowns at the attempt by the Sen. Okpozo’s group to castigate the NWC of the party for not yielding to their demand to sanction Prophet Jones EXCO within a specific time as request by the group as an act of “insubordination and rascality”.

He therefore directed that the “Delta State Elders and Leaders Committee, and their purportedly nominated Caretaker Committee member are within 24hour of the press release cause the retraction of the said communiqué which shall be published in any National Dailies.”

He also enjoined all other party leaders and members in Delta State to support and be loyal to the Prophet Jones Erue led state Executive Committee of the party, while the National leadership of the party is working hard to resolving all contending, issues in the state APC.
