Anaughe urges Delta APC faithfuls to be united; as he joins APC

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ughelli North, Hon. Moses Anaughe has enjoined members and leaders of the APC in Delta State to close rank and be united in the task of repositioning the party in order to rescue Delta from the grip of PDP misrule.

Anaughe stated this at his home in Agbarho when the Agbarho Ward 11 APC Chairman, Mr. Obi Otite led by the Ughelli North local government Chairman of the party, Olorogun Felix Ekure, presented to him his APC membership card.

 

While emphasizing the need to embrace new members into the party across the state, he stated that politics is a game of number therefore all hands must been on deck to take the party to the next level.

 

According to him, “the battle ahead of us in 2019 needs more hands and must be collectively fought in order to sweep away the 17 years of bad governance in Delta.”

Anaughe who is the Personal Assistant to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, recenly joined APC from Labour Party following the fusion of both parties in Delta state.

 

Dispelling the insinuations in some quarters that the APC government brought hunger to the land, Hon. Anaughe stated that the pains that the nation is passing through today, is as a result of the mismanagement of the resources of previous governments, adding that Buhari is trying to right the wrong.

 

Speaking earlier, the LGA Chairman of the party, Olorogun Felix Ekure stated that majority of Deltans have seen that the APC is the light that will liberate the state from the darkness that the PDP government has plugged the state into.

 

While welcoming Anaughe into the party, the LG chairman stressed that in Delta APC, all members have equal right, as there is no such word as old or new member, but one APC.

 

Some other leaders who were on hand to receive Hon. Moses Anaughe are; Chief Harrison Abuge, Chief Anthony Ukrakpor, Comrade Mark Osah, Chief Able Oruma. Others include Comrade Monday Oyeghe and Madam Omavuaye Ode amongst many others.
