The Member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Rev’d Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on their third anniversary in office, commended their administration for bold reforms and impactful governance.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Hon. Waive described the milestone as a reflection of visionary leadership, resilience, and a firm commitment to national and state development amid prevailing economic and governance challenges.
The federal lawmaker applauded President Tinubu for pursuing far-reaching economic reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for long-term fiscal stability and sustainable growth.
According to him, “President Tinubu’s bold monetary and structural reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, alongside aggressive investments in critical infrastructure, are laying the foundation for economic recovery and renewed investor confidence.”
He acknowledged that while the reform process comes with temporary economic pressures, the administration’s macroeconomic direction is steadily restoring credibility to Nigeria’s economy and strengthening its attractiveness to global investors.
Hon. Waive also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as an unprecedented infrastructure drive across Delta State under the MORE Agenda.
He praised the governor’s commitment to road construction, urban renewal, and the completion of inherited projects across the three senatorial districts, noting that the administration has continued to deepen public confidence in governance.
“The visible infrastructural transformation across Delta State is a clear demonstration of purposeful leadership. Governor Oborevwori has shown commendable dedication to inclusive development and improved living standards for Deltans,” Waive stated.
The cleric-turned-lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to working with both the federal and state governments to attract meaningful development, economic opportunities, and democratic dividends for the people of the U3 Federal Constituency.
He urged Nigerians and Deltans, irrespective of political affiliation, to continue to support APC-led government policies and programmes that promote national unity, economic growth, and sustainable development.
