2024 MOBO Awards: Asake Wins Best African Act Ahead of Tyla, Davido & More

In a thrilling night of celebration and recognition, the 2024 MOBO Awards showcased the best in music and entertainment.

Nigerian music sensation, Asake, emerged victorious as the Best African Act, beating out stiff competition from Tyla, Davido, and other talented artists.

As the stars gathered at the prestigious event, Asake’s win was a testament to his incredible talent and the impact of his music on the global stage.

The ‘Lonely at the Top’ crooner now joins a distinguished list of Nigerian artists who have won at the MOBO Awards, including 2Baba, D’Banj, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.

Another Nigerian artist, Limoblaze, also took home an award for Best Gospel Act, further highlighting the diverse talent emerging from the country.

The night was filled with unforgettable performances and memorable moments, with British-Nigerian rapper Tunde winning the Best New Artist award.
