Oboro call on Deltans to support Gov Okowa’s re-election in 2019

The member representing Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and frontline Delta Central Senatorial aspirant, RT. Hon. Evelyn Omavowan Oboro has called on Deltans to support the re-election of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as governor of Delta state come 2019.

Oboro stated this while responding to questions bordering on the Okowa-led administration, said the government of Okowa is committed to providing development, sustenance of peace and security of every citizen through the SMART agenda.

The PDP chieftain explained that in less than three years in office, the Okowa led administration has been able to achieve so much in area of infrastructure, empowerment and security.

She described Okowa as a very humble, intelligent and God fearing man with a lot of passion to help the needy and less privileged, adding that Okowa has performed excellently well in the discharge of his duties as governor and his programmes are laudable.

The lawmaker said that the governor enjoyed goodwill of all Deltans because of his outstanding performance, especially his hard stand in ensuring that roads are constructed across the state and massive job creation/youth empowerment through the STEP/YAGEP programme.

“Okowa has performed beyond every reasonable doubt. I will say those criticizing him are not patient enough with him. I want to appeal to our people to continue to support the Governor. We in the Delta Central Senatorial District will deliver the Governor again in 2019 because he has tried so much in the past two years in bringing dividends of democracy to our people”, she said.

On her senatorial ambition, she said her 2019 Senatorial ambition is gazetted by the grace of God, revealing that she is the next Senator to represent Delta Central come 2019 where the people will expect much goodies from her and experience what they have never seen before now.
