Delta House of Assembly Staff pass vote of confidence on Oborevwori

The Delta State House of Assembly chapter of the Parliamentary Association of Nigeria, PASAN has passed a vote of confidence on the Speaker of the house, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

PASAN in a letter conveying the confidence vote on the Speaker also affirmed the the association’s happiness on members of his management team for their interest in the welfare of the staffs of the state legislature.

The Chairman of PASAN, Delta State House of Assembly, Comrade Emma Edozie presented a letter of commendation to the Speaker for his outstanding sterling leadership qualities and welfare of staff.

Comrade Edozie stated that the staff of the state house of Assembly never had it so good, stressing that the workers no longer embark on protest before getting what is legitimate to them.

He particularly commended the Speaker for Christmas bonus to staff and the payment of outfits allowance, stressing that his emergence as the head of the state legislature brought hope and positive changes to the state Assembly.

The PASAN Chairman stated that the presentation was to welcome him back to work after the Christmas and new year break and to reassure him of their commitment and support to his leadership of the house.

Responding the Speaker, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori commended the workers for their renewed commitment to excellence and urged them not to relent in that regards.

While thanking  God for the achievement recorded in about eight months as Speaker of the house, Rt Hon Oborevwori thanked the state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for all the approvals.

He also paid glowing tributes to his colleagues, stressing that their unalloyed support accounts for the love and unity of purpose in the state legislature.

The Speaker reassured the staff that what is due them will surely get to them, saying that the Okowa’s led administration is committed to the welfare of workers in the state.

Rt Hon Oborevwori was flanked by the deputy Speaker, Friday Osanebi, other principal officers and some members of the house.
