Zamfara State's Hospital Service Management Board has completed a computer-based test for nurses and midwives applying to work in the state's health facilities. The recruitment drive reflects the board's push for a transparent and merit-based hiring process designed to boost healthcare delivery across the state.

Mustapha Abdulkadir Marafa, the board's executive secretary, said the exercise aimed to bring qualified professionals into the system. "The use of CBT guarantees fairness, accountability, and equal opportunity for all applicants," he told officials overseeing the test.

Marafa praised candidates for their discipline during the examination and urged them to stay optimistic as the process continues. He also thanked the examination team, technical staff, and security personnel who managed the exercise without disruption.

Only applicants who pass and meet all other recruitment standards will advance to the next phase, the board confirmed. According to the board, it remains focused on strengthening the state's health workforce and ensuring citizens have access to quality medical care.
