United States Congressman Riley Moore has urged the world to remember Nigeria's Christian killings. He posted his message on X, his verified social media account.

Moore's statement marked one year since suspected herdsmen struck Yelewata in Benue State's Guma Local Government Area. Over 200 people died in that attack.

"One year ago, Fulani Islamic terrorists stormed Yelwata, Nigeria, slaughtering more than 200 Christians," Moore wrote. "Most were women and children sheltering at a local Catholic mission."

According to him, the victims should be remembered as martyrs. He stressed that global attention must not fade from Nigeria's religious violence.
