The Naira lost more value against the US Dollar in the foreign exchange market on Wednesday.

According to the official FMDQ market data, the naira traded at N874.71 per US dollar on Wednesday, which is N65.51 lower than the previous day when it was N809.2 per US dollar.

The naira also dropped in the parallel market, where it sold for N1,110 per US dollar on Wednesday, compared to N1,100 the day before.

Dayyau Mistila, who runs a Bureau de Change at Zone 4 Abuja, said that Nigerians bought dollars at N1,100 on Wednesday.

He said, “We sold dollars at N1110 on Wednesday and bought them at 1100 per dollar.”.
