Now, you'll find a Northern Emir here. We know the Emir would be surprised to know everything in Warri now Wado City with this event. He must ask, I thought Olu was the King of Warri (Wado City)? But then he'd be briefed of the reality.
When he gets to his Emirate and anywhere in the North and Warri King is being discussed, he'd now be the rightful source to tell them the reality of things here that what we're seeing from here is nothing but media propaganda and that the reality on ground is far beyond our imaginations.
Here's the reality:
1. Shell Yard, Ogunu is Urhobo territory.
2. Federal Government College is Urhobo territory.
3. Nursing School is Urhobo territory.
4. College of Education is in Urhobo Territory.
5. Okumagba Layout is Urhobo territory.
6. Okumagba Estate is Urhobo territory.
7. Avenue is Urhobo territory.
8. Igbudu and the Igbudu market are Urhobo territory.
9. Ibo Market is Urhobo territory.
10. Marine Yard and Gate, territory.
11. Army Barracks is Urhobo territory.
Navy Barracks is Urhobo Territory.
12. Federal University of petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) is Urhobo territory.
13. Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) is Urhobo Territory.
14. Ekpan Refinery is Urhobo territory.
15. Osubi Airport is in Urhobo territory
16. All the Hotels in and around are in Urhobo territory.
17. Chevron in Ekpan is in Urhobo territory and the list is endless.
And in fact, all the places you know to be Warri are Urhobo Territory with their own Kings.
And he'd be asked: what about the Olu of Warri's territory? And he'd respond: that's the irony. It's just a media propaganda. In fact, that Title, "Olu of Warri" is the cause of all the crises in Warri. The aforementioned is what he will tell as the true story and many more.
Truly, it's just a media propaganda.
Urhobo have always been their shoulder to lean on but, they have lost that opportunity for trying to be faster than their shadows.
