Terem Moffi’s Arrival Sparks Excitement in Super Eagles Camp

The Super Eagles camp in Abidjan has been infused with renewed energy and enthusiasm following the arrival of OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi.

The Nigerian football team is currently preparing for their upcoming match against Ivory Coast in the ongoing 2023-2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Moffi, who received a late invitation to replace the injured Victor Boniface, joined his teammates on Sunday night, just a day after the Super Eagles’ disappointing 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea.

The 24-year-old forward has been a key player for OGC Nice, scoring four goals in 12 appearances for the Super Eagles.

The arrival of Calvin Bassey, Victor Sochima, and the impressive team of Joe Aribo and Alex Iwobi further boosted the Super Eagles camp. The team is now at full strength, with 18 players in camp and five more expected to join soon.

The Super Eagles are set to face hosts Ivory Coast on Thursday in a crucial match that will determine their fate in the tournament. With Moffi’s arrival and the team’s renewed spirit, Nigerian football fans are hopeful that the Super Eagles will soar to victory.

In other news, the Super Eagles’ training session at the Ecole Nationale de la Police on Monday afternoon was open to the media for the first 15 minutes, allowing a glimpse into the team’s preparations for their upcoming match.

As the Super Eagles continue to gear up for their crucial encounter with Ivory Coast, all eyes will be on Terem Moffi and his teammates to see if they can bring glory to the nation and keep their hopes of lifting the AFCON trophy alive.
