Teenager docked for allegedly smashing car windscreen

An 18-year-old boy was on Thursday docked in a Karu Upper Area Court in Abuja for allegedly smashing a car windscreen with a stone.
The defendant, who resides in AYA, Asokoro, Abuja is charged with mischief.
The Prosecution counsel, Mr Olarewaju Osho, told the court that the complainant, Mr Iyankase Peter, who lives in Mararaba, Nasarawa State reported the matter at the Asokoro Police Station on March 7.
The police said that the defendant threw a stone at the complainant’s Toyota Coaster  Bus in the AYA area in Abuja.
Osho said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 32 of the Penal Code.
The judge, Malam Ishaq Hassan, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 and one surety in like sum.
Hassan adjourned the case until May 15 for hearing
