The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially introduced Éric Sékou Chelle as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles.
The unveiling ceremony took place on Monday at the Media Conference Room of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, signaling a fresh chapter for Nigeria's senior men's national team.
Chelle's appointment, announced last Tuesday following the recommendation of the NFF's Technical and Development Committee, marks him as the third coach to lead the team since the departure of Portuguese manager José Peseiro.

The 47-year-old tactician will kick off his tenure with a significant challenge, overseeing the Super Eagles B team at next month’s African Nations Championship in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. Once the tournament concludes, his focus will shift to Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, beginning with critical matches against Rwanda (away) and Zimbabwe (home) in March.
NFF officials expressed confidence in Chelle's ability to bring renewed energy and tactical precision to the Super Eagles as they gear up for both continental and global competitions.
