Senator Ned Nwoko attended an Iftar dinner hosted by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, in a gathering that underscored unity, reflection, and shared values.

In a Facebook post, Senator Nwoko emphasized the significance of Ramadan, likening it to other spiritual observances such as Lent and Easter in Christianity. He highlighted that these sacred periods inspire deep reflection, sacrifice, and a renewed dedication to faith, compassion, and service.
“These sacred seasons of fasting and prayers, regardless of our religious backgrounds, remind us that love, peace, and service to humanity are the values that bind us together,” Nwoko stated.
He further stressed the responsibility of leaders to uphold integrity, fairness, and a genuine commitment to improving lives.
Expressing gratitude to Governor Uzodinma and other attendees, Senator Nwoko described the evening as one of meaningful dialogue and reflection. He extended his well wishes for strength, blessings, and peace to the nation and beyond during this sacred period.
