Rivers conflict settled, say Governor Bala Mohammed

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, who is the PDP Governors Forum Chairman, announced that the political rift between Governor Simi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, had been peacefully resolved.

He thanked President Bola Tinubu for his role in mediating the dispute and praised his “leadership” for facilitating a compromise.

He made this statement while responding to questions from journalists after the forum’s urgent meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
