Retired Brigadier General Harold Udokwere Murdered in Abuja Home Invasion

In a shocking incident, retired Brigadier General Harold Udokwere was reportedly murdered during a home invasion in the early hours of Saturday, June 22nd 2024, at his residence in Abuja. The assault took place around 3 am at No. 1 Sanga Street, Sunshine Homes, near Kabusa Junction in Lokogoma. According to sources, the robbers demanded jewellery, money, and other valuables from the General. Gunshots were heard during the attack, and one of the estate guards was injured. Brigadier General Udokwere was rushed to the National Hospital Abuja, where he was later confirmed dead. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has launched a manhunt for the killers of retired Army Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwere, who was murdered during a robbery attack at Sunshine Estate in Abuja. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 22, 2024, at approximately 3:00 a.m. The police reported that an armed group invaded the estate, forced entry into the general's home, and shot him amidst a confrontation. The Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, CP Benneth C. Igweh, denounced the assault and vowed to exhaust all efforts in capturing those responsible.
