PWDs will have access to Eagle Square for inauguration-FG

The Federal Government says it has made provisions for Persons Living With Disabilities (PWDs) to have easy access to the Eagle Square, the venue of the May 29 Presidential Inauguration.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, at the World Press Conference to mark commencement of the inauguration activities on Thursday in Abuja.
Mustapha said that no Nigerian would be denied access to venue by virtue of any form of disability.

He, however, said in view of the capacity of the Eagle Square, only representatives of different strata of the society would be accommodated for the inauguration.
“The Eagle Square has only 5000 sitting capacity.
“We have provided access to sitting arrangement for people that are constrained.

“I am confident that invitaitation will be handed over to you and every strata will have a representation so that they can go back and tell their members that they witnessed it,” Mustapha said.
