Portugal edged Nigeria 2-1 in a midweek friendly clash on Wednesday. The Super Eagles came in seeking an upset after their 2-2 draw with Poland seven days earlier.
Pedro Neto broke the deadlock for the Europeans. He found space in the box and finished clinically to put Portugal ahead.
Nigeria drew level before halftime. Akor Adams powered through the defence and levelled the scoreline with a composed finish.
The match appeared headed for a draw as the second half wore on. Francisco Conceicao had other ideas, cutting inside and curling a stunning shot past the Nigerian keeper to seal victory.
Portugal's attention now turns to their World Cup qualifying campaign. They face DR Congo in their opener next Wednesday.
