PDP to Present Action Plans for APC Government to Adopt: Oyo and Enugu Governors Take the Lead

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced its intention to propose action plans to the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government. This comes after PDP governors likened the current situation in the country to that of Venezuela.

Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Peter Mbah of Enugu State have taken the lead in this initiative. They have stated that the PDP will present these action plans in the coming weeks, with the hope that the APC-led government will adopt them for the betterment of the country.

During the inauguration of the 12.5 kilometres dualised Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata road in Ibadan, Governor Makinde emphasized the importance of these action plans in turning around the fortunes of the nation. He also announced the extension of the workers’ wage award in Oyo State for an additional six months.

Governor Mbah, on the other hand, stressed that the PDP is concerned with the collective interest of Nigerians and not narrow interests.

This collaborative effort by the PDP governors is aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the country and ensuring a brighter future for all.

The proposed action plans by the PDP will be a significant development in the Nigerian political landscape, as it highlights the opposition party’s commitment to working with the ruling party to bring about positive change.

It remains to be seen how the APC-led government will respond to these proposals and whether they will be willing to collaborate with the PDP in implementing them.
