PDP BoT Concerned About Nigeria’s Multi-Dimensional Poverty and APC’s Lack of Coherent Policies

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recently met to discuss the state of affairs in Nigeria and the party.

The BoT expressed deep concerns about the country’s current economic hardship, high cost of essential commodities, and alarming food scarcity.

They also highlighted the worsening insecurity and rampant corruption within the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.

In a recent meeting, the PDP BoT, led by Chairman and former Senate President Adolphus Wabara, stated that the APC government lacks coherent policies to address the country’s issues.

They mentioned the alarming inflation rate, unemployment rate, and poverty rate, which have left millions of Nigerians in dire conditions.

The BoT called on President Muhammadu Buhari to address the issues of corruption, insecurity, fuel price hikes, food scarcity, and unemployment in the country.

Despite the challenges, the PDP remains united and committed to working for the wellbeing of Nigerians and defending their interests.

The BoT has confirmed Senator Adolphus Wabara as its Chairman and Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi as Secretary, in line with the provisions of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended in 2017).

The party aims to strengthen itself and maintain unity and focus as it repositions for the task ahead.

The PDP BoT is deeply concerned about Nigeria’s multi-dimensional poverty and the lack of coherent policies from the ruling APC.

The party is determined to work together and address the pressing issues facing the country, with the hope of bringing positive change and progress to the Nigerian people.
