Organisation felicitates with AbdulRazaq on Appointment, Honour

The Hijrah Organisation of Nigeria has rejoiced with Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara on his re-election and appointment as the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).

The group also felicitated with AbdulRazaq on the National Honours of CON bestowed on him by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is contained in a statement signed by the National Chairman and the Secretary of the organisation, Prof. Badmas Lanre-Yusuf and Alhaji Abubakar Imam-Ayinla, respectively.

The organisation also congratulated the President, Sen. Bola Tinubu, his Vice, Sen. Kashim Shettima and all the members of National and State Houses of Assemblies on their eldctoral victorirs and inauguration.

“The honour given to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as CON did not come as a surprise to us, because the Governor has worked and still working to deserve such appointment and honour.

“We belief that the appointment and honour will propel the governor to continue to do more, and usher in more good things to the state, also elevate the governance under his administration,” it stated.

The organisation also felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and other traditional rulers, as well as the people of the state as Kwara celebrate 56 years of existence.

The group prayed for more harmonious atmosphere, peace, tranquility and happiness to prevail in the state and country at large.

Besides, the organisation commiserated with the families and people of Offa and Erin-Ile over the demise of their two prominent sons; Prof. Jamiu Oyawoye and Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II.

“We urged the two ancient cities to emulate the right virtues of the two departed sons and allow peace and tranquility to reign in the two cities, by seeing themselves as brothers,” it stated.
