Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated Niger Delta leader, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on his 55th birthday, commending his significant contributions to peace, security, and development in the region.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described Tompolo as a respected figure whose influence has continued to promote stability across the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
Oborevwori particularly highlighted his leadership as Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, noting that his efforts have strengthened the fight against crude oil theft, increased oil production, and boosted national revenue.
He also acknowledged Tompolo’s support for the Delta State Security Trust Fund, describing it as a clear demonstration of his commitment to protecting lives and property in the state.
According to the governor, both the Federal Government and Niger Delta states continue to appreciate Ekpemupolo’s dedication to fostering peace and driving development in the region.
Describing him as a proud son of the Niger Delta, Oborevwori extended his best wishes, praying for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the celebrant as he sustains his service to humanity.
