Oborevwori celebrates Dein of Agbor at 49, hails monarch’s legacy of peace, development

The Governor commended the Dein for his unwavering commitment to the preservation of Agbor’s rich cultural heritage, while also promoting development, peaceful coexistence and the welfare of his people.

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated with the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi I, CON, as the revered monarch clocks 49 years.

Governor Oborevwori, in a congratulatory message issued on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, described the traditional ruler as a visionary leader whose reign has brought renewed peace, unity and progress to Agbor Kingdom, Delta State and beyond.

The Governor commended the Dein for his unwavering commitment to the preservation of Agbor’s rich cultural heritage, while also promoting development, peaceful coexistence and the welfare of his people.

He noted that the monarch’s leadership style, marked by wisdom, compassion and dedication, has earned him widespread admiration and respect both within and outside the kingdom.

Governor Oborevwori said: “On behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, I warmly felicitate with His Royal Majesty Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi I, CON, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, on the occasion of his 49th birthday anniversary.

“Your Majesty, you have continued to provide purposeful leadership to your people with love, wisdom and compassion. Your contributions to peace, unity and development have remained a source of inspiration to many.

“As you celebrate this milestone, I pray that Almighty God will continue to bless you with good health, greater wisdom and strength to continue your service to humanity and the advancement of Agbor Kingdom, Delta State and Nigeria.”

The Governor wished the royal father many more years of fulfilled reign, divine grace and impactful service.
