Assets at Nigeria's leading Islamic lender climbed past N1.2 trillion during the year. Profit jumped 28 percent to exceed N30 billion.

This strong showing created a historic N4.91 billion dividend pool for distribution. Investors stand to receive substantial payouts from the record sum.

Northern billionaires and prominent business figures emerged as the biggest beneficiaries. An elite group of shareholders will pocket millions of naira.

Jaiz Bank specializes in non-interest banking services across Nigeria. Its performance reflects growing investor confidence in the Islamic finance sector.
