NNPP in Ogun State Vows to Challenge APC, PDP in 2027 Elections

The Ogun State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has expressed its determination to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming 2027 elections.
This declaration was made by the newly elected Chairman, Barrister John Aina, during his inauguration on Thursday.
The inauguration event was attended by prominent party leaders, including the governorship candidate of the party in the 2023 elections, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the South West Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Kilamuwaye Badmus, and other key figures in the state chapter.
Aina emphasized that his election as the new Chairman marks a new beginning for the NNPP in Ogun State.
He promised to ensure that the party becomes a formidable force to be reckoned with, both at the state and national levels.
“I want members to know that it is going to be a new beginning. There is going to be a new NNPP in Ogun State.
That is why I have made a covenant with our members that since they have elected me as the new Chairman of this party, I am going to deliver,” Aina said.
The Chairman of the Congress Committee, Mallam Dogodama, expressed his happiness over the peaceful and successful nature of the Congress.
He highlighted the consensus that was achieved during the Wards and Local Governments Congresses, attributing the success to the peaceful nature of the party members.
Dogodama emphasized that the NNPP is the only party being loved by Nigerians, as the PDP and APC have failed to deliver on their promises.
He expressed his belief that the NNPP is the solution to the problems currently faced by Nigeria, stating that the time has come for Nigerians to look towards the NNPP for a new and better Nigeria.
The inauguration of the new Chairman and other elected officers marks a significant milestone for the NNPP in Ogun State, as it sets the stage for the party’s ambitions to challenge the political status quo and bring about meaningful change in the state.
