The Nationwide League One has selected Abeokuta and Ado Ekiti to host the 2026 South-West promotional playoff. Matches will take place from July 10 to July 15 across the MKO Abiola Sports Arena and the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
The week-long tournament will crown two South-West clubs for promotion to the Nigeria National League next season. Four teams will battle for the South-West 1 promotion spot: Franceex United, Ablaze FC, Hepzebah FC and Ikorodu.
The South-West 2 slot will see Dokkal Khairu FC, Adeyemi FC, Ijebu United and Yewa FA compete. All fixtures will kick off simultaneously at both venues to maintain competitive balance throughout the tournament.
The NLO has also confirmed that Nasarawa, Yobe and Jigawa states will stage the northern zone playoff. This structure ensures all regional qualifiers happen under standardized conditions across Nigeria.
